KONGTUM Technology provides vortex wave plates based on liquid crystal polymers. The liquid crystal vortex wave plate adopts a sandwich structure, that is, two ultraviolet fused silica flat window plates protect the polymer functional film in the center. All liquid crystal vortex plates are installed in a standard black snap ring with an outer diameter of 25.4 mm, and the end face of the snap ring is marked with a laser cross line for easy adjustment by customers. One side of the cross line of the m=1 series vortex wave plate is marked with a double scribed line to indicate the 0 ° fast axis position of the vortex wave plate. Kangte Technology provides standard vortex wave plates with m=1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, suitable for beams with spot diameters ranging from 0.1 mm to 20 mm.


The liquid crystal vortex wave plate has a constant delay across the entire aperture, but its fast axis rotates continuously in the optical region. The vortex wave plate can transform TEM00 Gaussian beam into Laguerre Gaussian beam. Vortex wave plates can be used to generate vector polarized states or vortex beams: when circularly polarized light is incident, the vortex beam emits, and the circularly polarized state has opposite rotation; When linearly polarized light is incident, the vector polarization state is emitted.
